ABSTRACT
O presente artigo tem como objetivo abordar diferentes leituras a respeito da gratidão, traço emocional que já foi estudado por psicanalistas, pesquisadores da psicologia positiva e da personalidade humana. A autora articula essa diversidade de abordagens e propõe uma leitura analítica a respeito da gratidão como fator de saúde emocional, observando também que este mesmo traço pode adotar características sombrias que merecem discriminação. Ressalta a importância do trabalho consciente acerca da gratidão no caminho de individuação.
The current article intends to describe several approaches regarding gratitude, an emotional trait that has been studied by psychoanalysts, positive psychology and human personality researchers. The author reviews this diversity of approaches and proposes an analytical discussion on gratitude as an aspect of emotional health, observing that it can also adopt shadowy characteristics that deserve discrimination. It emphasizes the importance of conscious work on gratitude in the path of individuation.
Este artículo pretende abordar diferentes lecturas sobre la gratitud, un rasgo emocional que ya ha sido estudiado por psicoanalistas, investigadores de la psicología positiva y de la personalidad humana. La autora articula esta diversidad de enfoques y propone una lectura analítica sobre la gratitud como factor de salud emocional, advirtiendo también que este mismo rasgo puede adoptar características oscuras que merecen discriminación. Destaca la importancia del trabajo consciente sobre la gratitud en el camino de la individuación.

Através de uma leitura simbólica da correspondência entre os escritores brasileiros Clarice Lispector e Fernando Sabino, a autora mergulha na individuação proporcionada por tal relação de amizade, que perdurou por mais de 30 anos. Tece reflexões a respeito dos arquétipos da anima e do animus.
This article adresses the bond of frienship between a man and a woman as a booster of individuation of both. Through a symbolic reading of the correspondence between the brazilian writers Clarice Lispector and Fernando Sabino the author dives on the individuation booster by such a friendship, which lasted for more than thirty years. Reflections are made about the archetypes of anima and animus.
El artículo aborda la amistad entre un hombre y una mujer como propulsor de la individuación de ambos. A través de una lectura simbólica de la correspondencia entre los escritores brasileños Clarice Lispector y Fernando Sabino la autora profundiza en la individuación proporcionada por tal relación de amistad, que perduró por más de treinta años. Hace reflexiones acerca de los arquetipos del ánima y del animus.

ABSTRACT
Happiness is a lasting state and is associated with the absence of negative emotions, the presence of positive emotions, life satisfaction, social engagement and objectives in life. Researchers have demonstrated the benefits of happiness in many aspects of life, but few studies have been conducted within psychiatry. Objectives: To develop a critical literature review of studies on happiness and health in order to bring some further and useful information to psychiatry updating the article Happiness: a review published in 2007 in Revista de Psiquiatria Clínica. Methods: Computational searching was undertaken of digital data basis (PubMed and SciELO) using the keywords happiness and health. One hundred twenty-seven papers published between 2004 and 2014 were found, but only 76 had the keywords in the title or abstract and with this were selected. Results: Personality traits, such as self-direction; being married; being involved in physical and leisure activities; higher educational backgrounds and intelligence quotient; religiosity, volunteering and altruism; good physical and mental health; were positively related to happiness. Discussion: Analysis of the concept of happiness and its associated emotions may be more complex than describing the symptoms of psychiatric disorders. O presente artigo busca amplificações simbólicas nas expressões artísticas (letras de música, poesias, obras de dramaturgia e do cinema) que aludem ao tema da traição conjugal. Tece reflexões buscando um significado psicológico para esse fenômeno, estabelecendo pontes com o corpo teórico da psicologia como um todo, e da psicologia analítica em particular. Conclui que a relação conjugal é uma via de individuação, e que no casamento o desafio é permanecer fiel ao outro e a si mesmo, concomitantemente.
This article looks for symbolic amplification in artistic expressions (such as song lyrics, poetry, dramaturgy and movies) that allude to the theme of conjugal betrayal. It ponders the psychological meaning of this phenomenon, establishing connections between it, the theoretical body of psychology in general and analytical psychology in particular. The article concludes that conjugal relationship is an individuation path and that the challenge in marriage is to remain faithful both to the partner and to him/herself, at the same time.
